Lázničková, Eva ; Dohnal, Jiří (advisor) ; Kněz, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Magnetic susceptibility survey within the archaeological prospection Author: Eva Laznickova Department: Institute of Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology and Applied Geophysics Supervisor: PhDr. RNDr. Jiri Dohnal The work is focused on the use of magnetic susceptibility measurement in archaeological prospection and consists of two interconnected parts. The core of the first one is the background research including basic theoretical and practical knowledge of magnetic susceptibility measurement, with an emphasis on field prospecting and the application of this method in archaeological research. The theme of the second part comprises the areal geophysical survey of the segment of the Hussite siege camp by Novy hrad u Kunratic realized by means of magnetic susceptibility measurement and other selected geophysical methods (magnetometry, conductometry). The contents of this part includes the field measurement, data processing and complex interpretation of the results in connection with all other available information.
